Hand-to-Hand Combat

Interconnection between all parts of the «Golden Triangle System» allows for a quick switch from hand-to-hand combat to combat with a melee weapon at various distances, including using small-arms and smoothbore weapons. The need for hand-to-hand combat arises in a real combat situation, for example, in the event of a weapon malfunction or when combat takes place at distances unsuitable for fire contact.

The main disciplines of hand-to-hand combat:

  • Basics of movement, choice of distance;
  • Distancing;
  • Effective application of submission techniques and choking techniques that lead to the loss of the opponent’s combat capability;
  • Blows at particularly vulnerable points of the enemy and protection from blows;
  • Release from grips and girths;
  • Protection against the threat of weapon;
  • Protection against the strikes of an armed opponent;
  • knife fighting techniques;
  • Small spade fighting techniques;
  • Close-quarters rifle-combat;
  • Knife throwing and a small infantry spade throwing.
  • Combat techniques with smashing weapon

Knife Throwing

Knife throwing is a very useful skill. It develops a superb ability to judge by eye and a sense of distance.

Throwing requires great patience and high concentration that resembles sport shooting.

Training includes studying specific features of knives, since special throwing knives generally suit for throwing. With a target throwing skill, the trainee will learn how to throw not only special knives but also objects completely unadapted to throwing such as screwdrivers, needles and nails.

Knives and objects are thrown from different distances, angles and body positions. The basis is a blade hold throw standing half-face and a no-turn technique (handle hold throw).

This discipline has practically no age limits.
